The 876 Experience

Reliability, engineered
into every phase.

A wedding should feel like a celebration, not an administrative burden. Our four-phase production process was engineered for couples planning from abroad, and it delivers the same precision for couples right here in Jamaica: absolute timeline control, invisible technical integration, and a dance floor that never lets go.

Couples’ Choice

876 Sounds is a luxury wedding DJ and MC team in Jamaica serving destination and local couples. Our four-phase process covers onboarding, collaborative music curation through a cloud portal, a final planner sync 7 to 21 days out, and seamless on-site production. Dates book 12 to 18 months ahead.

Phase 01

The Vision & Alignment

Your journey begins with certainty. Once availability is confirmed, Randy liaises directly with you and your planner to handle the administrative onboarding. An initial alignment call maps your aesthetic expectations, venue dynamics, and the atmosphere you want your guests to remember.

Phase 02

The Sonic Architecture

Distance is never an obstacle. You are granted access to our Live Curation Matrix — a secure, collaborative digital space accessible from anywhere in the world. Here, you and DJ Pablo co-design the soundtrack of your weekend: cultural nuances, must-plays, do-not-plays, and the exact energy arc of your reception.

Phase 03

The Final Creative Sync

Our zero-surprises protocol. Held 7–21 days before you board your flight, this comprehensive review with your planner locks the final Run-of-Show, confirms the timing of every formality, confirms phonetic pronunciations for the grand entrance, and scripts your Master of Ceremonies’ key announcements — so your timeline flows without a single assumption.

Phase 04

Flawless Aesthetic Integration

On the day of your celebration, our team executes the Invisible Tech standard. Arriving hours before your first guest, we weave premium audio into your floral and lighting design — no visible cables, no distracting equipment. A pristine visual environment, and a perfectly calibrated acoustic one.

The Dynamic

A Specialized Performance Team

Orchestrating a luxury timeline requires undivided attention, so we strictly separate our roles. DJ Pablo is dedicated entirely to live mixing and reading the room’s energy, while a dedicated Master of Ceremonies coordinates directly with your planner and drives sophisticated crowd engagement. The music never stops, and formalities are handled with prestige.

Planner Partnership

Distance-Proof Reliability

We speak the language of high-end logistics. Trusted by international planners executing at elite venues across Jamaica, we preemptively provide technical riders, floor plans, and insurance documentation — and we liaise directly with your venue on power draw and footprint. Your overseas planner gets complete peace of mind that the technical production is secure.

Anticipating Your Needs

Client & Planner Inquiries

How do we secure our date?
To guarantee exclusivity, we require a signed agreement and a 25% retainer. We strictly accept one event per day, and key dates are being secured 12 - 18 months in advance. Once your booking is settled, your date is officially off the market.
Is the DJ also the MC, or do you use a two-person team?
We intentionally use a two-person team: a dedicated DJ and a separate Master of Ceremonies. By separating these roles, our DJ remains 100% focused on live mixing and reading the dance floor, while your MC hosts and directs the event, focused on managing the timeline, coordinating with your planner, and delivering key announcements. As dinner transitions to party, your MC shifts into an interactive crowd motivator, and the chemistry between the two keeps the performance seamless from first toast to final song.
Do we really need a final planning consultation?
Yes. We operate a strict Zero-Assumption policy. While our online portal captures your requests, the Final Creative Sync (held 7-21 days before your big day) is non-negotiable. It locks the final Run-of-Show, confirms phonetic pronunciations for the grand entrance, and reviews cues for entrances, first dance, and special performances so on your wedding day you can fully switch off your planning brain.
Do you attend the wedding rehearsal?
Rehearsal attendance is available as a premium add-on, subject to availability. Most couples find it unnecessary: by rehearsal time, we have already completed the Final Creative Sync with your planner, and our live, cloud-based Run-of-Show lets your team make instant timeline updates (even hours before the wedding) with our team always perfectly in sync.
How do you interface with our planner?
We view planners as our primary partners in success. From day one, your planner is looped into our digital communication pipeline. We handle the technical heavy lifting — liaising with the venue on power draw, providing exact footprint dimensions, riders, and insurance documentation, so your planner can focus purely on design and guest experience.
