To guarantee exclusivity, we require a signed agreement and a 25% retainer/booking fee. Dates are often booked 12-18 months in advance. Once your booking is settled, your date is officially off the market.

How does 876 Sounds handle venue vendor fees at Jamaica resorts?

Some resorts in Jamaica charge a fee for outside vendors. As the client, you are responsible for settling this fee directly with the venue. We are happy to provide any documentation — including insurance certificates and permits — that the venue requires to approve our access.

What are the payment options for booking 876 Sounds?

We accept major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard) via our secure online portal, as well as direct bank transfers. Detailed payment instructions are provided upon booking.

Can we opt out of social media coverage at our wedding?

Absolutely. We are accustomed to working with high-profile clients and frequently accommodate requests for delayed posting (embargoes), curated sharing (only specific segments), or a strict No-Post policy. Your comfort and privacy are our priority and we will adjust our terms accordingly.

Does 876 Sounds use one person as DJ and MC, or a two-person team?

For the ultimate destination wedding experience, we intentionally utilize a two-person team: a dedicated DJ and a separate Master of Ceremonies. By separating these roles, our DJ remains 100% focused on live mixing and curating a flawless sonic journey, while your dedicated MC serves as the polished host, managing the timeline and coordinating with your planner. This dynamic chemistry ensures an epic, engaging performance from the first toast to the final song.

We provide a comprehensive, concert-grade audio experience. Our standard production includes multi-zone audio with separate independent sound systems for each location (Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception), acoustic optimization tuned to your venue, and aesthetic integration including a sleek DJ booth that can be custom-wrapped with your monogram or design. We adhere to a strict clean-cabling policy to ensure your photos are never cluttered by wires.

How does 876 Sounds curate the music to match our vision?
