Cinematic Atmosphere
Cold Sparks, Cloud Effects & Monogram Projection in Jamaica
Three effects, each built for one moment. They are included from the Cinematic Experience upward, and any of them can be added to a Foundation or Signature booking.
Dancing on the Clouds
The Ethereal Floor is a low-lying cloud that sits at ankle height across the dance floor while you have your first dance. Your photographer gets the shot that ends up framed.
We use dry ice rather than a water-based hazer. The difference is what happens afterwards: the dry ice effect disappears clean, with no residue left across the floor your guests are about to dance on. A water-based low-fog machine can leave a film behind. On a polished or high-gloss floor, which is what we install, that distinction is not cosmetic.

Dancing on the Clouds · Moon Palace, Orion Ballroom
Clouds and sparks, on the nightBoth effects, one first dance
Low-lying cloud under the couple, cold sparks framing them. Filmed at a Jamaican wedding, playing on a loop.
Cold spark illuminations
Cold sparks are luminous fountains that throw a column of light with the visual grandeur of fireworks and none of the flame. The output is cool to the touch, so the effect works indoors, under a tent, and in the middle of a room full of guests.
- The grand entrance, as you are announced into the room
- The first dance, framing the couple rather than crowding them
- The cake, for the shot everyone has their phone up for
Height and duration are set to the room, and the units are positioned so the sparks read on camera without the fountains themselves dominating the frame.

Cold sparks · Grand Palladium Lady HamiltonMonogram projection
Your initials, crest, or a custom mark projected onto a wall, a dance floor or a building facade. It is the quietest of the three effects and the one that appears in the most photographs, because it is present all evening rather than for ninety seconds.
The artwork is built to match your stationery, so the mark on the wall is the same mark on your invitations and your menus.

The first question every resort asks about cold sparks is whether they are pyrotechnic. They are not. Even so, we confirm effects clearance with your venue in advance, and with their fire officer where the venue requires it, as part of the planner timeline call.
That is a step we take rather than a form we hand you.

Questions
What couples and planners ask
What is "dancing on the clouds"?
A low-lying cloud effect that sits at ankle height across the dance floor during the first dance, so the couple appear to be dancing on top of it. We produce it with dry ice.
Are cold sparks the same as fireworks?
No. Cold sparks are pyrotechnic-free. The output is cool to the touch, which is what makes them usable indoors and under a tent where real pyrotechnics would never be permitted.
Will our resort allow cold sparks?
Most do, because the effect is not pyrotechnic. We confirm clearance with your venue in advance and involve their fire officer where the venue requires it, rather than arriving and finding out.
What is the difference between dry ice and a fog machine?
Dry ice produces a heavy cloud that stays low and disappears clean. A water-based machine can leave residue on the floor. On the high-gloss floors we install, that matters for both the look and the footing.
Does the cloud effect make the dance floor slippery?
Our dry ice effect disappears without residue, which is the reason we use it rather than a water-based alternative.
Where does a monogram projection go?
Onto a wall, a dance floor or a building facade, depending on the venue. We select the surface with your planner so the mark is visible in photographs without falling across seated guests.
Are these effects included or added on?
Cold sparks and the cloud effect are included from the Cinematic Experience upward. All three effects can be added to a Foundation or Signature booking.
